An uncapping fork is a beekeeping tool used to remove the wax cappings from honeycomb cells before honey extraction. These cappings are the wax seals that bees use to cover the cells filled with honey. The fork has a handle and a set of sharp metal tines that allow the beekeeper to scrape or pierce through the wax to expose the honey inside.
